TOUR Description

The village of Pitigliano, called the Small Tuscan Jerusalem, rises up out of a massive rock, creating a fascinating mix of architecture and nature, hanging on the “tufo” a local stone between green valleys with a magic vision. Your guide will show you the Orsini Palace, the Fontana Medicea (Medici’s Fountain) and an aqueduct made of “tufo” from the 14th century. From the main square, three parallel streets enter the village, intersected by a series of picturesque alleys: staircases, little arcades and decorations will present you a real Tuscan experience. During the stroll a stop in a typical cellar to taste local wines.
